There’s been a bit of media fuss recently about the Morrisons food boxes. It’s been hard to get an online shop booked as just about everybody is clamouring for the small amount of slots available, what with the COVID-19 lockdown ongoing. Morrisons came up with an idea – fixed price food boxes filled with staple household goods, for the not so princely sum of £35. The temptation was simply too much – I managed to order one (even these are in short supply). Being a meat eating household, I went for the Meat Eaters Food Box. I wanted to show you what you get for your money, so here I am unboxing the Morrisons food box for your viewing pleasure…
I have to say, this really does feel like good value for money. I haven’t added up the total cost, but I’m sure there’s a saving being made and it has saved the hassle of attempting to book and shop and order items individually. Thank you Morrisons, that’ll keep us going for a little while.
Don’t want to watch the video? Here’s an idea of what’s in the box:
- Meat – bacon, sausages, minced beef chicken
- Bread and pitta bread
- Toilet roll and kitchen roll
- Tinned goods
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Onions
- Cucumber, carrots and potatoes
