Well, hello there. Let’s begin.

Welcome to the shiny new England Reborn website!

This is the first blog post in what will be a journey for me – bringing what I am doing in real life to the internet for the benefit of others. I am on a journey of self improvement. True self improvement never ends – it isn’t something you do for a bit, like a fad diet or most new year’s resolutions. It is ongoing and not only benefits you, but those around you that you care about. And it takes many forms, of which I’ll be covering.

Self improvement? I struggle to stay on path..

You only need stay close to the path. We’re all creatures of habit and I’m no angel. I don’t claim to be either. I have many vices and have made numerous mistakes, all of which I have learned from. And I’ll continue to make mistakes. I’ll also continue to indulge in my vices from time to time – because the first thing I want to tell you about this blog is that it’s going to be about balance. Physical balance, mental balance. The balance between work and play. Without it, things can spiral out of control. It’s very difficult to work hard without fun or relaxation added to the equation!

I am an optimist. I think, as bad as life sometimes gets, there is so much joy and so much good stuff, that there is a balance.

Through the various forms of self improvement (there are a few) and striking just the right balance, life can be fulfilling. Life IS what you make it. As the name England Reborn would suggest, I’m an Englishman living in England. It is this background that forms the core of much of what I will post. My thought is a simple one. Most of us want to live good lives in a place that is safe enough to do so. England the place cannot improve without the people doing so first. Hit subscribe to stay up to date with all news and new posts and join me in looking at what you can do to improve balance in your life and empower yourself through self improvement.
