Hello and welcome. England Reborn came to life back in 2010 as a response to the disillusionment I was feeling with modern England. My aim was to help develop a new, bright future for English people in England based on tried and tested traditional methods – including but not limited to rural style living, home and local produce, the community pub, music and dance, but aided by modern technology and methods. Each year, a bit of old England is lost; English culture eroded, green belt destroyed and knowledge of traditional skills is dying. So is the ‘gentleman’ and one of the cornerstones of English culture – the family and close familial ties. With the dominance of social media, I had neglected the blog and site in favour of Facebook and (semi) motivational quotes (which I’ll still do), but I feel now that the time is right to bring England Reborn into the 2020s – with a blog brand that will look at wellness, both physical and mental health, self improvement, ways to raise your game and do more than just compete. I believe you can thrive, living a balanced life and overcoming pitfalls and all that the 21st Century can throw at you. I know I speak to the many when I ask, why be a bit part player when you’re capable of more? A rebirth in England depends on people recognising that modern living is not sustainable. It is my hope that you, the reader, could also experience a rebirth. I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
